About LEAD Benue
INTRODUCTION:
LEAD Benue is and acronym for Leadership Emancipation for the Advancement and Development of Benue.
At LEAD, we represent creative and innovative solutions to contemporary problems that have impeded against the development of Benue State.
41 years after creation, Benue State is yet to start tapping the rich human and natural resources available in the state for the benefit of her citizens. Meanwhile, the state has continued to grapple with high rates of unemployment, poorly managed public sector, weak health and educational systems, poorly trained, poorly motivated, an under performing civil service, grossly underfunded government MDAs, corruption, nepotism, poor security, poorly organized and managed markets and commerce sector, weak and poorly organized sports, culture and tourism sectors, inconsistent payment of gratuities and pensions among others.
LEAD Benue believes that in other to achieve sustainable development and improve the quality of life of Benue Indigenes, there is need to build, rebuild, revive and create systems, structures, strategies and partnerships that would provide the relevant response to these needs and challenges and enable Benue state to achieve its full potential.
We have come together; we the common people to forge for ourselves a singular path to freedom and progress; not just for us, but for the generation after us.
VISION
Our vision is to make Benue a self sustaining economic unit through the use of available natural and human resources.

LEAD’s mission is to use social impact investment as a means to achieve sustainable development and improve the quality of life of Benue indigenes.
