What can we learn of God, of ourselves and of others when we reflect on the very human activity of dance? Turning to Scripture, we see that God created everything and pronounced it as very good (Gen 1:31). We are told by the Psalmists that by reflecting on God's good creation - be it nature (E.g Ps 8) or God's creation of human beings (E.g Ps 139), we can be pointed to God and experience deeper worship, contemplation and awe. Applying biblical principles, this workshop will be about dance and how to think Christianly about it. It will also provide participants space to reflect and converse with God about their body, gender, relationships and notions about God Himself. Please note: no dance experience of any kind is required. Simply the ability - and willingness - to move!
