Arriving in a foreign country to commence an academic programme at an Institution you have never visited before can be daunting regardless how prestigious the Institution. At the University of the Western Cape, we understand that there are numerous barriers for International Students to traverse in order to function optimally in their new environment.

The ISSO Buddy Programme is the University's attempt at supporting those new to the University of the Western Cape through connecting them with Senior International Students at the Institution in order to help them adjust to their new surroundings with as little difficulty as possible.
