  • B) ABOUT THE 78th SUMMER SESSION

  • ARRIVAL DATE: July 14, 2020 / DEPARTURE DATE August 4, 2020 (No late arrivals or early departures!)

    Tuition for participant in the 78th Summer Session: $3,000.00 (Includes private room and board and practice facilities) Guaranteed 6 hours of practice time per day. Access to practice studios always available for additional time.

  • C) APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Applicants who have not attended Adamant over the past two years must send the following:

    1) Three identical CDs with three contrasting pieces. Required: one movement from a Sonata by Haydn, Mozart or Beethoven. If you wish to send mp3 files, please follow the instructions below:

    2) Letter of recommendation from a teacher or colleague (if applicable)

    Please label the tape with your name and the pieces, and list the pieces below:

  • D) REPERTOIRE

  • Please list the repertoire you have studied in the past two years and indicate the pieces you have performed with an asterisk (*).
  • E) Goals

  • PLEASE NOTE: Participants will be assigned a primary teacher during the session. Requests made for a specific teacher will be considered but NOT guaranteed. Participants are encouraged to work with other faculty members outside of class.

  • F) SUBMITTING YOUR APPLICATION

  • Once you have complete the entire, please click on the Submit button below.

    You are now required to send your audition pieces.
    You may either mail these pieces by sending 3 clearly labled CDs;
    or you may submit these pieces online.

    MP3 SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

    APPLICATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY March 1, 2020

    You will be notified of acceptance as soon as possible. If you are accepted, a $500.00 non-refundable deposit check will be required to reserve your place in the 2020 Traditional Piano Session. Credit card payments will include a 3.5% processing fee; checks and money orders must be made in U.S. currency. Half of the tuition is due by June 1st with the remainder due at registration.

    I understand that my deposit is non-refundable and must be paid immediately upon acceptance. I further understand that in the spirit of community life at Adamant Music School, my participation in some household chores will be required.
